A pre-treatment system for iron, manganese, fluoride and arsenic removal using aeration, oxidation, catalytic media filtration and selective adsorption, sized ahead of RO.

Across eastern UP, Bihar, parts of Punjab and Haryana and the whole Gangetic belt, groundwater carries iron, fluoride or arsenic at levels that will foul an RO membrane within weeks if untreated. Plants that skip this stage typically discover it as an unexplained membrane replacement bill in month four. The system aerates and oxidises dissolved ferrous iron into a filterable precipitate, removes it through catalytic media, and handles fluoride and arsenic through selective adsorption media chosen by the specific ion and its concentration. Every installation is designed against an actual raw water analysis — this is not a stock skid.

Common questions.

Can RO alone handle iron and arsenic?+

RO rejects them, but iron precipitates on the membrane surface and fouls it rapidly, and the cost shows up as membrane replacement rather than as a treatment problem. Removing iron upstream is far cheaper than replacing membranes downstream.

Do you need my water test report before quoting?+

Yes, and we will not quote this system without one. Media selection and vessel sizing depend on the specific ions, their concentrations, pH and competing anions. A generic skid will underperform within months.
