Overview

Built for the way your line actually runs.

A turnkey juice concentrate plant with multi-effect falling-film vacuum evaporation, aroma recovery, and aseptic or frozen concentrate packing for apple, orange, grape, pomegranate and mixed fruit.

Concentrating juice cuts shipping volume by five to seven times, which is why almost all internationally traded juice moves as concentrate. The engineering problem is that boiling juice destroys the volatile aromatics that make it taste like fruit. A multi-effect falling-film evaporator running under vacuum keeps evaporation temperatures low, and an aroma recovery column captures the volatiles stripped in the first effect so they can be added back to the concentrate — this is what separates sellable concentrate from a flat, cooked-tasting syrup. Concentrate is then packed aseptically at ambient or frozen in drums, depending on the buyer.

Frequently Asked

Common questions.

Is aroma recovery worth the extra capex?+

For anything you plan to sell as a branded or export concentrate, yes. Without it the concentrate reconstitutes flat and buyers discount it. For concentrate feeding your own heavily-flavoured RTS line, it matters less.

How much steam does an evaporator consume?+

A single-effect unit uses roughly 1.1 kg steam per kg of water evaporated. Each additional effect cuts that substantially, and MVR can bring it close to electrical-only operation. We model steam versus power cost at your site before recommending the configuration.
